Additional Ideas and Information

Consider scheduling fun extras such as: a musician who loves to sign camp fire songs, personal chef, on-site masseuse, yoga instructor, or family photographer. Contact inquiries@TettegoucheLodge.com for more information.

Meal Planning: Depending on your group make-up, we have found when renting houses with large groups that it works well to assign out dinners to different people and then buy general breakfast and lunch items for the group to make on their own. However you approach it the grocery store, Zup’s, in Silver Bay has a good selection and the Co-Op in Finland is very close by with a more limited selection.

Check-in: The day before check-in you will receive the address, directions, and key pad code to let yourself in. Check-in time is 4:00 pm CT and early check-in is usually not available given the length of time needed to clean the house. We recommend planning a fun drive up such as taking advantage of the wide array of activities and adventures in Duluth.  Take a quick hike up to Enger Tower for a birds’ eye view of Duluth and Lake Superior.  In the winter, you can ski at Spirit Mountain or see the Christmas lights at Bentleyville.  There is shopping and lots of great restaurants in Canal Park. Or as you continue to head North on 61 you can stop at Gooseberry Falls, Betty’s Pies, Split Rock, or the many other sites.
